This month's issue of Biodiesel Magazine features an article about IFT's BD-3 additive- a multifunctional formula that has been proven to provide superior oxidative stability enhancement when blended with biodiesel.  BD-3 has emerged as a top performer in addressing stability issues in biodiesels produced from various feedstocks.

In May 2008, IFT submitted a sample of BD-3, it's newest product for use in biodiesel, for testing in a study conducted by the Bio-Energy Innovation and Testing Center at Montana State University-Northern.

BD-3 once again proved that it was a top performing additive in addressing oxidative stability and deposit control issues in biodiesels produced from various feedstocks.

The group presented its findings at the AOCS Annual Conference in Seattle, WA on May 19.

This is an excerpt from the recent press release announcing the completion of development and testing for IFT's newest and most effective product for fuel stability in biodiesel and biodiesel blends, DiesoLIFT BD-3:

DiesoLIFT^TM BD-3, IFT’s proprietary fuel additive formulation for use with bio-diesels and bio-diesel fuel blends, has recently been introduced, following an extensive research and development program and subsequent testing that have demonstrated that DiesoLIFT^TM BD-3 is the top performing fuel additive technology for addressing oxidation stability and deposit formation in bio-diesels and bio-diesel fuel blends.

Results from the tests demonstrated that DiesoLIFT^TM BD-3 exceeds the performance of any other bio-diesel fuel stabilizer in the marketplace today.
